Susanne Jung

Susanne Jung ( born May 17, 1963 in Meiningen ) is a retired German javelin thrower who competed for East Germany.

In 1987 she won silver at the Universiade and finished fifth at the World Athletics Championships in Rome.

At GDR Championships, she was second in 1987 ( with her personal best jump of 69.60 m) and 1990 third party.

Susanne Jung began at the BSG activist Unterbreizbach and started as a competitive athlete for the SC Turbine Erfurt.
