Susanne Regel

Susanne rule ( born September 9, 1974 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German oboist and professor of historical oboes instruments, currently at the Musikhochschule Trossingen. In addition, it plays as an orchestral musician and as a soloist at many international and national festivals. She specializes in the baroque, classical oboe and the Romantikoboe.

Education

Susanne usually already starts during their earliest school days on woodwind instruments and begins an intensive training on the recorder, the modern oboe and historical oboes.

1993 reached the semi-final rule as the youngest participant of the international " Early Music " Competition in Bruges and assigns 1995 ( after graduation ) as Solooboistin the internationally renowned ensemble Musica Antiqua Köln ( Reinhard Goebel ) at. In 2001, she successfully completed her studies in historical oboe with Ku Ebbinge and recording under the direction of Marc Sebastien Royal at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and concludes this study with honors.

Rule has made more than 50 radio, CD and DVD recordings. Particular attention is paid to their participation in the overall recording of Bach cantatas under the direction of John Eliot Gardiner with the English Baroque Soloists in 2000.
