Susy Kane

Susanna " Susy " Kane ( born August 27, 1978 in Dorking, Surrey ) is a British actress, writer and musician.

Life and career

Kane is the daughter of opera singer Alison Warner and actor and writer John Kane and the younger sister of actor Simon Kane. She grew up in Wandsworth, a city district of London and won in the sixth grade a scholarship to the Westminster School. She studied Chinese, art and film at the University of Edinburgh.

Only sixteen years old, she began singing in jazz clubs. She played gypsy violin in 2005 released album Tissues and Issues by Charlotte Church.

Her first television role was in 1999 in the BBC One children 's comedy series Barmy Aunt Boomerang. This was followed by roles in series such as English G Force, The Thick of It, Misfits and Starlings. In the British mystery series House of Anubis Since 2013 she plays the role of Miss Denby.

She worked as a writer, actress and director of comedy skits for the website Funny or die and wrote sketches for radio and television programs such as Harry and Paul and The Wrong Door. She lives in London.
