Sutton Coldfield (often just called Sutton ) is a city in England, which administratively belongs today to the City of Birmingham, in the north it is. By 1974, Sutton Coldfield was a separate borough in Warwickshire.

Sutton Coldfield has 105 452 inhabitants and is at the lower house elections its own constituency ( long held by the Conservatives ). Since 2004, Sutton Coldfield is a separate district. Sutton Coldfield is traditionally considered one of the most affluent residential areas of the West Midlands, as reflected in villas such as Little Aston Park or the Four Oaks Estate.

King Henry VIII granted Sutton Coldfield in 1528 the official title of Royal Town. It was not until 1885, changed the status to that of a municipal borough, the old titles remained in use.

Worth seeing is mainly the Sutton Park, with almost 10 km ² Europe's largest city park. The city is home of the football club FC Sutton Coldfield
