Suvi Mikkonen

Suvi Mikkonen (born 11 July 1988) is a Finnish Taekwondo. It starts in the weight class up to 57 kg.

Mikkonen came at the age of four years about Karate to Taekwondo. At age 13, she moved with her parents to Madrid, where she trained professionally ever since. Her first title fights she denied at the Junior European Championships in 2002 in Heraklion. In the adult population, it launched at the European Championships 2008 in Rome and at the 2009 World Championships in Copenhagen, but different in their respective fights start from.

Mikkonen reached at the European excretion in January 2012 in Kazan in the weight class up to 57 kg the final and qualified for the Olympic Games in London. There she was defeated Tseng Li -cheng in the fight for the bronze medal.
