Suzanne Kosmas

Suzanne M. Kosmas ( born February 25, 1944 in Washington, DC) is an American politician of the Democratic Party and was from 2009 to 2011 member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida.

Biography

Suzanne Kosmas attended from 1961 to 1963, the Pennsylvania State University, 1971-1973 George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and in 1998 the Stetson University in DeLand. Since 1973 she works as a real estate agent in New Smyrna Beach; In 1979 she founded her own company, Prestige Properties of New Smyrna Beach. She was a member from 1996 to 2004 the House of Representatives from Florida and could not then be re-elected due to a limitation of terms of office. In 2008 she was elected to the House of Representatives of the United States after they beat the three-time election winner and former Speaker of the House of Florida, Tom Feeney, in her constituency. On January 3, 2009, she was then sworn.

In the House, she served on the Finance Committee and the Scientific Committee.
