Suzhou (Anhui)

The city of Suzhou (宿州 市; Pinyin: Suzhou Shì ) is a prefecture-level city in northern Anhui province. It has an area of 9,787 square kilometers and counts 5.88 million inhabitants ( 2002). Seat of government is the city district Yongqiao (埇 桥 区).
