Suzy Prim

Suzy Prim, born Suzanne Mariette Arduini ( born November 11, 1895 in Paris, † July 7, 1991 in Boulogne-sur- Seine) was a French actress.

Life

Prim came from a family of actors and was already at the age of 18 months on the stage. From 1905 she was a partner of the famous dancer La Belle Otéro. She played both at the Folies Bergère and on top stages such as the Théâtre de l' Oeuvre and the Théâtre Michel, where she appeared in plays of Henrik Ibsen and George Bernard Shaw.

Under the pseudonym La petite Arduini they had been from 1898 to 1910 as one of the first French actresses in films. Greater importance they attained here only with the advent of the talkies. Suzy Prim took very different roles in Fedor Ozeps rival the Empress, she appeared as Empress Catherine II.

After the Second World War, she only received minor roles, and in 1959, she ended her career. In 1976, she was seen again in the thriller The body of my enemy with Jean -Paul Belmondo.
