SV Beuel 06

The SV Beuel 06 is a football club from the district of Bonn Beuel on the right side of the Rhine.

History

The association goes back to the set up in July or August 1906 Beueler FV 06. On March 25, 1924, concluded that the FV Alemannia 1919 Beuel together the sports club Beuel 06. The club colors are green and white.

After several failed attempts, the club in 1936 rose in the Gauliga Middle Rhine, the then highest German league on. In the season 1937/38, achieved with the Middle Rhine Cup the biggest club success. At the final round of the German Cup, however, took Alemannia Aachen in part, because a legitimate Beueler protest, which earned them the decisive points to lengthy negotiations by the DFB and was decided a few days too late.

Since the club after the war could not finance the participation in the Oberliga West, moved the SV Beuel 06 in the Federation League Middle Rhine, the highest German amateur class. With the descent 1954, the club disappeared from the higher-class football. 1959 reached the summit in the national league central Rhine, where you spend the next 15 years and the rise has been missed several times just in the federation League Middle Rhine and the vice - championships in 1969, 1972 and 1973.

Today, the SV Beuel 06 plays in the District League Middle Rhine.

Stadium

The SV Beuel 06 plays its home matches at the named after the former national player Beueler Franz- Elbern Stadium. The stadium holds 10,000 spectators, inaugurated in 1936.
