Svein Nyhus

Svein Nyhus ( born January 23, 1962 in Tønsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian illustrator and children's book author.

Nyhus studied from 1981 to 1985 at the National Arts and Crafts School in Oslo. He has published in collaboration with his wife, the poet Gro Dahle, numerous picture books. In 2004 he designed the written by the Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise children's book Why Kings and Queens wear no crowns. His twin brother Egil Nyhus is also active as an illustrator and cartoonist.
