Sven Bender ( 2013)
Sven Bender ( * April 27, 1989 in Rosenheim ) is a German football player who is under contract with Borussia Dortmund and accrued for the German national football team. He is the twin brother of gambling at Bayer 04 Leverkusen Lars Bender.

Background and education
The son of a customs official from Rosenheim is the twin brother of Lars Bender, who is also a professional footballer and 04 Leverkusen Bayer is under contract. Both grew up in Brannenburg near Rosenheim, graduated from the high school and broke businessman teachings.
The Benders included Piotr Nowak and Abédi Pelé to their idols. They are the 14th pair of brothers who played in the German national football team (including the GDR selection).
Career
Association
Bender began with four years at TSV Brannenburg playing football and joined with ten years SpVgg Unterhaching and 2002 for TSV 1860 München. He was in season 2005/ 06 with the U-17 TSV 1860 Munich German masters. In the season 2006/ 07 he was nominally the senior squad of the TSV, but played primarily at the U- 23 in the Regionalliga Süd. There he played until 2007 16 times and scored one goal. His debut in professional football was Sven on 18 December 2006 at the home game against FC Erzgebirge Aue in the 2nd Bundesliga. In November 2007, Bender's contract was extended until 2011. He arrived at 1860 on 65 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he scored a goal.
In summer 2009, Bender moved to Borussia Dortmund, where he signed a contract until 2013. There he made his Bundesliga debut on 19 September 2009 in Hannover (1:1). Since then it has established itself through the injury-related loss of captain Sebastian Kehl under coach Jurgen Klopp as a regular player in the defensive midfield. His first Bundesliga goal for BVB, he scored 12 February 2011 against 1 FC Kaiserslautern. With Borussia Dortmund, he was the first time German champion in the 2010/11 season and defended the title in the season 2011/12.
Bender extended during the winter training camp in 2012/13 his contract with Borussia Dortmund ahead until 30 June 2017.
National
Sven Bender participated with the German U- 17 national team at the 2006 European Championships in Luxembourg, in which up to fourth place. In 2008 he was in the German squad of U-19 European Championship in the Czech Republic, in which the team became European Champion.
On February 4, 2011, he was first appointed by Joachim Loew in the squad for the friendly against Italy. His international debut, he finally completed on 29 March 2011 in the 1-2 defeat in a friendly against Australia, where it was used over the full season. For the European Football Championship 2012, he was appointed to the preliminary squad, but not included in the final squad, unlike his brother.
