Sven Epiney
Sven Epiney ( born January 14, 1972 in Naters ) is a Swiss television and radio presenter, editor and musician.
Life
Sven Epiney lived the first two years in his birthplace Naters and then moved with his mother to Sion, where he attended a French-speaking kindergarten. In 1978 she moved to Bern, where he attended school. Epiney made initially trained at teacher training college Lerbermatt in Köniz a primary school teacher and then studied six semesters law at the University of Bern. Epiney broke up in 2011 after a ten year relationship of his former friend. Epiney is in a relationship and lives in Zurich.
Media Careers
His media career began at the age of 12 years ( 1984). At that time, he hosted the children's show, the Bern Radio Lollipop conveyor belt. Finally in 1988 he hosted at the same radio the day's program.
He was invited by Swiss TV to a successful audition for the " TAF " daytime television in 1993 and joined as the young team of moderators. For this mission he developed the " TAF " Star category. He was moderator of this mission until 1996. 1996 bis 2003, he conceived and hosted the fair live broadcasts from the Fairs Olma, Züspa, MUBA and BEA.
In 1996, he hosted the comedy show subtleties and from 1997 to 2000, the youth game show blockbusters, a copy of Super Grips ( 1988-1995 ) of the Bavarian Radio. In 2013 he was moderator of the first season of The Voice of Switzerland. Along with Viola Tami He also moderates the second season in spring 2014.
Musical career
Sven Epiney took 1977-1981 privately, from 1982 to 1987 at the Conservatory in Bern and from 1988 to 1992 at the teacher training college piano lessons. In 1996, he founded the band Pure Pleasure together with radio -24- moderator Reto Peritz. The first single Angel in Disguise 1996 reached a peak position of 44th place in the Swiss charts on 12 January 1997. This band was the opening act in 1996 in Backstreet Boys, The Kelly Family, Boyzone, Peter -André- and DJ Bobo concerts in Switzerland.
In 1997 the second single All Through the Night and 1999, the third single, Time of Your Life. These singles reached no positions in the Swiss charts.
Awards / Prizes
In 2004 he won the Prix Walo ( Swiss Showbiz Award ) in the category of " crowd " and 2007 together with the editors in the category " Best TV Production", in 2006, the TELE- prize for best TV presenter and in 2007 he got the " Glanz & Gloria Award" as an audience favorite.
