Sven Kretschmer

Sven Kretschmer ( born December 31, 1970 in Berlin ) is a former German football player and coach who currently works as a scout for Hertha BSC.

Career as a player

In his youth, he played at SC Siemens City, 1 FC and SC Luebars Berlin amateurs. His first stop was professional Tennis Borussia Berlin before after just one season transferred to local rivals Hertha BSC 1988. After initial difficulties, he was in the second season first-team regular and increased with Hertha on in the 1st Bundesliga. There, the capital city were severed Last. After the active time

Since 2003, Kretschmer works as a scout for Hertha BSC, since 2010 as chief scout. In April 2007 he became the assistant coach of Karsten Heine at Hertha after the dismissal of Falko Goetz. In six games, the team achieved three away wins and three home defeats.
