AB Svenska automobile factories was a Swedish manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

Anders Jonsson, who was previously involved in the production of Rengsjöbilen, founded on 10 December 1919, the company in Bollnäs. Chief designer was A. G. Gullberg. 1920 began the production of automobiles. The brand name was SAF. 1922 production ended. Instead of the planned 1000 vehicles per year incurred a total of only 25 copies.

Rolling stock

The company had acquired from the Pullman Motor Car Company, which went bankrupt, chassis and other material. Continental Motors supplied four-cylinder engines with 3,000 cc displacement. For these parts, complete vehicles, including six-seater touring car emerged. The gearbox had three gears.
