Svenska Scoutförbundet

Svenska Scoutförbundet (SSF; Swedish for Swedish Scout Association ) is the largest Scout Association in Sweden. The resultant was in 1960 by the merger of the interdenominational Scout associations for boys and girls association in 2010 claims to be about 55,000 members in 600 local chapters. About the national governing body of Scoutrådet Svenska Svenska Scoutförbundet is a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and the World Organization of the Scout Movement; in autumn 2010 decided the five member organizations of Svenska Scoutrådets to merge to form a common federation.

The Svenska Scoutförbundet operates a significant international boy scout campground on the island Vässarö north of Stockholm.
