Sverre Haugli (born 1982)

Sverre Haugli ( born October 2, 1982 in Jevnaker ) is a Norwegian speed skater.

Sverre Haugli is active internationally since the 2006/07 season. The long-haul specialist is grandson of Eisschnellläufers Sverre Ingolf Haugli and brother of Maren Haugli. In November 2006 he made his debut in Heerenveen over 5000 meters at the World Cup, where he reached the 15th place. In Turin he came in February 2007, the team running in sixth and eighth over 5000 meters for the first time in the top ten ranks. The following season he was in Calgary with the team as a runner-up for the first time on the podium. In the all-around championship in Klobenstein he finished in January 2007, the eleventh in the all-around world championship in February in Heerenveen the 18th Place. On 10 May 2010 Sverre Haugli announced the end of his athletic career. He attributed this to the better economic conditions in the job as head of the ring Erik BADETS ( swimming pool) in Hønefoss.
