Swasche

The Swasche, also Swesche, Swasher, Sueschoour, Suescher, Swash, Suesche and Sivasche called, was a kind of drum, which was a deep sound produced and used in Scotland for various purposes in order to gain attention for a Ankünding or an event, but was also used in support of sporting events and military parades. She has a well- Swiss origin.
