Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest

This article deals with the history of Sweden as participants in the Euro Vision Song Contest.

Regularity of participation

Sweden took the first part of the third Euro Vision Song Contest in 1958 and regularly since then. The country remained the competition three times so far: 1964 participation was not possible due to an artist strikes. After 1969 four countries had won, renounced Sweden 1970 together with Finland, Norway, Austria and Portugal forward to participating. Success in competition

National preliminary decisions
