Sweden women's national handball team

The Swedish women's national handball team represents Sweden in international tournaments in women's handball.

Sweden finished in 1957 at the first World Indoor Championships in 8th. Subsequently, the three- Crown team participated only at the B World Championships for many years. In 1990 Sweden was again on the participation of the A- field world championships.

The greatest success of the Swedish team at the European Championships is the 6th place at the 2006 European Championships in their own country. For the Olympics one qualified only once.
