Swedish East India Company

The Swedish East India Company ( " Svenska Ostindiska Companiet " ) was an East India Company, which dealt with the trade between Sweden and India and East Asia.

The company was founded in 1626. 1731 formed a new company, which was awarded the exclusive privilege of the East Indian trade. The main business was in the import of tea from the Chinese Empire. However, the British pushed the Swedes back more and more.
