Swedish Film Institute

The Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Svenska Filminstitutet, was founded in 1963 as a foundation. Founder of the Foundation were the Swedish state and the Swedish film industry, Swedish television and the television channel TV4 AB.

The Swedish Film Institute has as an objective,

  • To support the production of Swedish films,
