Swedish general election, 1917

In 1917, an election to the Second Chamber of the Swedish Parliament took place. Only men were eligible to vote.

The conservative party of the incumbent Prime Minister, Carl Swartz suffered considerable loss of votes. There was a coalition government of Liberals and of Socialists.
