Swedish Match

Swedish Match AB is an industrial group based in Stockholm with focus on tobacco and match production. The corporation has its origins in the " Svenska Tändsticksaktiebolaget " ( Swedish match - Aktiengesellschaft), which was founded in 1917 by the later " Zündholzkönig " Ivar Kreuger. The present name, the company received in 1980. Since 1992 also founded in 1915 " Svenska AB Tobaks " ( Swedish tobacco corporation) belongs to the Group.

Swedish Match has a variety of products that are among the market leaders. Thus, the product range focuses on products that are related to tobacco, such as chewing tobacco and snuff, cigars and pipe tobacco, as well as matches and lighters. The production takes place in 16 countries and its products are distributed in over 150 countries.
