SWEEPS-04

SWEEPS -04 is an exoplanet of the subgiant SWEEPS J175853.92 - 291120.6 orbits every 4.2 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet. It was discovered in 2006 using the transit method from the Sagittarius Window Eclipsing Extrasolar Planet Search Project.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0,055 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0% and has a mass of about 1208 Earth masses, or 3.8 Jupiter masses. Its radius is estimated to 58,000 km.
