Sweetwater County, Wyoming

Sweetwater County is a county located in the state of Wyoming in the United States. On 1 July 2005 Sweetwater County had 37,975 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is the Green River.

Geography

The county has an area of ​​27,172 square kilometers; of which 171 square miles of water. It is bordered clockwise to the counties: Fremont County, Carbon County, Moffat County (Colorado), Daggett County ( Utah), Summit County (Utah ), Uinta County, Lincoln County and Sublette County.

Sweetwater County was founded in 1867.
