Swiss Chess Championship

The list of Swiss champion in chess includes the winners of all the Suisse Championships of men and women.

1968 No championships were held because the date clashed with the Chess Olympiad 1968, which was held from November 7 to 17 October in Lugano.

Reported not only the Swiss Chess Federation players are eligible to play, but every Swiss citizen. So Alexandra Kosteniuk won the Women's 2011 and 2013, Mr. championship, although it has never been reported for SSB, because her husband- is Swiss and she has a Swiss passport.
