Swisslion - Takovo ( Serbian Cyrillic Свислајон Таково ) is a Serbian food companies un belongs to the biggest Southeast European food producers. The head office is located in the capital Belgrade.

One applies a HACCP concept. This is a preventative system designed to ensure the safety of food and consumers. Among other things, the food is Halal certified.

The company uses the SAP ERP software, which is used to settle all the company's business processes such as accounting, controlling, sales, purchasing, production, inventory, and human resources.

The company is best known for his Eurocrem Takovo sweets. The products are popular in the countries of former Yugoslavia and among the most popular consumer products of Yugo- nostalgia.

Today the company is one of the leading food manufacturers in South East Europe, whose products are available worldwide. Headquartered in Belgrade, the company also has divisions in Gornji Milanovac Inđija, Vršac and Kragujevac (Serbia ), in Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Podgorica (Montenegro ) and Sisak (Croatia ), in Resen and Skopje (Macedonia), as well as in Villars -sur -Glane in Switzerland.

History

The company's origins lie in Gornji Milanovac at that time in 1962, founded food company Takovo and the company was founded in 1997 Swisslion. At the time of Yugoslavia Takovo was a state-owned enterprise and one of the largest industrial enterprises in the country. Swisslion Takovo and eventually merged in 2004 under the name Swisslion - Takovo.
