Switzerland at the 1904 Summer Olympics
The Switzerland participated with an athlete at the Summer Olympics in 1904 in St. Louis.
Gustav Tiefenthaler, a wrestler who won the bronze medal in the paper weight, at the time of the games even a Swiss citizen. Born in Unterwalden, he moved at a young age with his family to the United States over. He went to the South Broadway Athletic Club in St. Louis and is therefore valued by the IOC as Americans.
