Switzerland men's national junior ice hockey team

The Swiss U-20 ice hockey team is the national team selection for the U20 Junior of Switzerland, who took part as a guest team in the game operation of the National League B between 2006 and 2009.

NLB participation

Participation in the game mode of a professional league should prepare the youth players at the annual World Championships and make the game better understanding of the different attack formations with each other. This received each NLB team from 2006 an additional home game and the U20 selection had the opportunity to even compete against men's teams. U20 World Cup 2007

After preparation in the NLB, the team met in the preliminary round of the tournament at the U20 representatives of Russia, Finland, Czech Republic and Belarus. With a win against the White Russians and three losses only reached fourth place in the table of Group B. This missed the selection of the quarter-finals, but could in the relegation round both the German as well as the Slovak U20 national defeat. In order for Switzerland in 2008 played in the A- group of the U20 World Cup.
