Swoosie Kurtz

Swoosie Kurtz ( born September 6, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska ) is an American actress.

Her mother Margo was a writer, her father Frank Kurtz Col. the United States Air Force. Your first name she received after the Philippines flown by her father in the Pacific War B -17 Bomber " Swoose Goose ". Kurtz studied at the University of Southern California and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art She played in some Broadway plays, for which she was awarded the Tony Award among others. Since September 2010, she plays the role of " Joyce Flynn " in the series Mike & Molly.
