Sword swallowing

Sword swallowing is a dangerous performance art in which the artist introduces a sword through his mouth into the esophagus and into the stomach. The term is, strictly speaking, a misnomer, as the artist must suppress their nausea and do not swallow the sword, while it is in your throat. About 100 people have mastered this art world; most of them are members of the Sword Swallowers Association International ( SSAI ). Sword swallowing is a dangerous activity that had serious medical complications.
