The sword stick ( also sword or dagger pole rod) is a medieval polearm from Europe.

Description

A sword is a sword staff or dagger blade that is attached to the end of a wooden rod. This gives the gun the power of a sword with the reach of a polearm. This allows opponents on foot as well as fighting on horseback equally well.

In Scandinavia enjoyed the sword stick ( Svärdstav ), especially in Denmark and Sweden, with militias special popularity.
