Sydney Harbour Federation Trust

The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, also called short Harbour Trust, is an Australian authority which was established in 2001 in order to obtain land and property of the Australian Federal Government and the Sydney Harbour and made ​​available to the public. The Harbour Trust is a subsidiary agency of the Australian Federal Ministry Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities. An ecological reserve was designated as North Head Sanctuary in Manly.

Other bodies have responsibility for real estate around the Sydney Harbour. These include the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and the Sydney Harbour National Park, both under the supervision of the Government of New South Wales.
