Sydney Super Dome

The Acer Arena is the largest indoor live entertainment and Sports Arena in Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush, Sydney, Australia. Acer Before 2006, the naming rights bought, the arena was called Sydney Superdome.

In the Acer Arena events such as Supercross, tennis, rock concerts and musicals take place. As one of the main locations of the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 was the Acer Arena venue for athletics, trampoline and the basketball finals.

Designed and conceived it was from the Abigroup Ltd.. in collaboration with the Obayashi Corporation. The 190 - million-dollar complex was designed to put new standards in terms of "Urban Design"; the arena was named by experts as one of the best indoor arenas in the world.

In the Acer Arena are 21,000 seats. The official opening took place in 1999 with a gala performance by Luciano Pavarotti instead. The Australian media company Publishing and Broadcasting Limited ( PBL) holds 100 percent of the arena.
