Sydney Swans

The Sydney Swans Football Club is an Australian football team from Sydney, New South Wales, which plays in the Australian Football League ( AFL). The club colors are red and white.

The club was founded in 1874 as South Melbourne Football Club and entered 1897 in the Victorian Football League. In 1981 the club moved to Sydney and is named since Sydney Swans. South Melbourne / Sydney in the AFL has won five championships: 1909, 1918, 1933, 2005 and 2012.
