Sydney Tafler
Sydney plaiter ( born July 31, 1916 in London, † November 8, 1979 ) was an English character actor.
Plaiter were seen in the years 1947 to 1977 in many films and TV productions, until the end of his life he still appeared in several television series. His last film was The Spy Who Loved Me, starring Roger Moore as James Bond. Here he played the captain of the Liparus, an employee of Karl Stromberg. Plaiter occurred repeatedly in Filömen the British director Lewis Gilbert.
Taflers wife's name was Joy Shelton. They were married from 1947 until Taflers death. Plaiter had three children, one of them is the actor Jonathan plaiter, and five grandchildren.
Plaiter died on 8 November 1979 at the age of 63 from cancer.
