Syleus (mythology)

Syleus (Greek Συλεύς, also Συλέως ) was a son of Poseidon and a tyrant in Aulis. All strangers who passed through his territory, he forced them to work in his vineyards, which he then killed. Only Heracles made ​​the bustle to an end when he, together with the roots dug up the plants and Syleus wine as well as its subsidiary Xenodoke killed.
