Sylvia Pinel

Sylvia Pinel ( born September 28, 1977 in L'Union, Haute- Garonne ) is a French politician of the Parti Radical de Gauche (PRG). She was Minister for trade, commerce and tourism in the Ministry of Industry in the cabinet of Prime Minister Jean -Marc Ayrault (June 2012 to March / April 2014) and ' Minister for Housing and Regional Development ' in the Cabinet Valls Manuel Valls from.

Life

After schooling Sylvia Pinel studied Fundamental Rights and European Law and graduated with a Diplôme d' études approfondies (DEA ) from. A subsequent post-graduate studies in the fields of litigation and arbitration, she finished with a Diplôme d' études supérieures spécialisées (DESS ).

In 2007, she was representing the Parti Radical de Gauche ( PRG) elected deputies of the National Assembly for the department of Tarn -et -Garonne and 2012, re-elected. Its mandate rests because of their membership in the government. Between 2007 and 2012, she was Vice -President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Central Africa, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan and Malta, and also secretary of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Benin, Spain and Greece.

Sylvia Pinel, who is also president of the PRG in the Tarn- et- Garonne, is also a member of the Regional Council of Midi -Pyrénées region, and since 2011 Vice- President of the PRG since 2010. As such it is responsible for civil rights, security and justice.

After the election of François Hollande as President and the appointment of Jean -Marc Ayrault as Prime Minister, she was from this appointed as Minister with responsibility for trade, commerce and tourism in the Cabinet on 17 May 2012 and as such was the industry minister, Arnaud Montebourg, assumed. As part of the Cabinet formation after the parliamentary election in 2012 their function was upgraded to an independent ministry.
