Sylvia Wetzel

Sylvia Wetzel ( born July 5, 1949 in Wolfach in the Black Forest) is a Buddhist feminist who has brought in Germany in Buddhist circles at a high level of awareness, as it conveys the themes of Buddhism, meditation and spirituality as a woman for women.

Life and work

Sylvia Wetzel studied from 1968 in Heidelberg Political Science and Slavic Studies. During this time she was also politically active, especially early on in the women's movement.
