Sylvie Testud

Sylvie Testud ( born January 17, 1971 in Lyon) is a French actress.

Life

Became famous Sylvie Testud in 1996 in the role of Lara in Caroline Link's film Beyond Silence. She played a daughter to deaf parents, the forfeit playing music. For Testud In 1997, the Film Award at the German Film Prize for best dramatic performance.

In 2004 she received a César Award for Best Actress for her role in Amélie stupeur et tremblements by Alain Corneau, an adaptation of the novel with amazement and trembling. In 2009, she played the lead role in the film Lourdes, where she embodies a ill with multiple sclerosis young woman holding a " miracle cure" experienced in a pilgrimage to the eponymous French pilgrimage in his own body.
