Symphony No. 6 (Prokofiev)

The Symphony No. 6 in E flat minor, Opus 111 by Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev ( premiered in Leningrad on October 11, 1947) is the tragic counterpart to the Fifth Symphony and is to this in the same proportion as Shostakovich's Eighth to the Seventh.
