SysCP

SysCP ( " System Control Panel " ) is a computer program to manage your server in PHP and MySQL, which allows an ISP to provide its customers with a web interface to manage e -mail addresses and domains available.

In autumn 2003, Florian Lippert has started the project. Since June 15, 2004 SysCP will be further developed under the GNU GPL. The software brings with configuration templates for Debian, Ubuntu, SuSE Linux and Gentoo Linux, but can also run under other systems such as FreeBSD. Services supported include the Apache HTTP Server, lighttpd, MySQL, PHP, Postfix and Courier or Dovecot for mail services, BIND 9 nameserver. Other services or extensions can be integrated without problems in the configuration operated by SysCP services, such as ClamAV, SpamAssassin, etc. ..

SysCP is an alternative to fee-based and proprietary systems, such as Confixx or Plesk, and other open source solutions like ispCP or ISPConfig.

In May 2010, the project was abandoned and the project sites are no longer available.

In spring 2009, some developers left the SysCP team that initiated a fork under the name Froxlor together. Froxlor can be used as a drop-in replacement for SysCP, known security vulnerabilities and adds new features.
