Systemic disease

As a systemic disease ( synonym: systemic disease ) all diseases are known which have an impact on an entire organ system, such as the blood (leukemia, anemia ), the central nervous system or the muscular system as a whole. In a broader sense, such diseases are called systemic or generalized, the non-specifically affect more or less on the entire body, such as diabetes mellitus, rheumatism, psoriasis, sarcoidosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma or cystic fibrosis.

Systemic diseases are localized with respect to the diseases in which an organ or a part of an organ affected by the disease.
