Systemic functional grammar

Systemic- functional grammar ( SFG ) is a grammatical model in linguistics that was developed in the 60s by Michael Halliday.

In this regard theories attempt to clarify the extent to produce texts of different meanings (semantics). This is a fundamentally different approach than the question by Noam Chomsky: "What is the finite rule system which generates exactly all the grammatical sentences in a language "

The Systemic- Functional Grammar strives to bridge the gap between the theoretical and applied linguistics. Your description of the grammatical apparatus is based on a comprehensive theory - a theory, however, which is caused by their use. It is precisely here, it differs from other theories of grammar, such as the solely focused on the competence analysis of Chomsky. In order for the Systemic- Functional Grammar is a tool for editing both the grammar and meaning and discourse.
