Syukeyevo

Sjukejewo (Russian Сюкеево, Tatar Сөйки, Söyki ) is a village in Tatarstan, in Rajon Kamskoje Ustje. It is located about 720 kilometers east of Moscow and 75 miles south of Kazan on the banks of the Volga River and has about 600 inhabitants.

Sjukejewo is the seat of the rural community Sjukejewskoje selskoje posselenije, which in addition to the village heard the small settlement Sjukejewski Wswos. The population of the municipality is 658 (as of October 14, 2010 ).

In the town, there was until 1958 a number of natural caves in the bank slope, formed between a lower and upper gypsum - dolomite layer. They were destroyed due to the flooding of the Kuibyshev Reservoir.
