Szaloncukor

Szaloncukor (Salon sugar) is associated with Christmas candy from Hungary and a traditional Christmas tree decoration.

Szaloncukor are wrapped in colored tinfoil chocolates that hang like garlands on the Christmas tree in Hungary. The name salon sugar has its origin in the fact that the Christmas tree is traditionally in the salon ( Szalon in Hungarian ). Recipes are to be recorded in writing since the late 19th century.

Szaloncukor there is in the shape of Christmas chocolates with jelly filling, chocolate with cognac truffle cream, Családi Szaloncukor (Family Pack) with jelly, marzipan, coconut, lemon and cocoa glaze Túró and Bonbonetti Marcipános Szaloncukor. Even Christmas chocolates with marzipan and cocoa glaze as Szaloncukor are known.
