Szaniec Landscape Park

The landscape park Szaniec ( Szaniecki Landscape Park ) is a nature reserve in Poland, which is assigned to the category Landscape Park. The set up in 1986, the park, the second largest of the three country parks Ponidzie, is located in the powiat Buski in the communes ( gmina ) Busko- Zdrój, Solec- Zdrój, Stopnica and in powiat Kielecki in the community Chmielnik and powiat Pińczowski in the community Kije in the Province of the Holy Cross in the central southern Poland and has an area of ​​109.15 km ² and a buffer zone of 128.59 km ². To him belongs the 1959 designated nature reserve Owczary. A characteristic feature of the park is the gypsum karst landscape.
