Szczecin Landscape Park

The Szczecin Landscape Park Buchheide ( Szczeciński Landscape Park " Bukowa " ) is located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship between Zdroje ( Finkenwalde ) and starlings Czarnowo (Neumark ). The Buchheide has a rich geological structure and consists of a moraine. The highest point is 148 m mountain Bukowiec. In the park next to boulders many ponds, lakes and numerous small ponds and forest Moore occur. The tree inventory is dominated by the beech.

The reserve was founded in 1981, covers an area of approximately 9,096 hectares and includes an additional buffer zone of 11,842 ha. In the park there are six nature reserves. The seat of government is in Gryfino ( Pommern ).
