Szczekociny rail crash

The railway accident at Szczekociny occurred on March 3, 2012 at 20:57 clock near the Polish town of Szczekociny. At least 16 people were killed - including the two train drivers, 57 were injured. Unfortunately it came on the railway line 64 ( Koniecpol - Kozłów ) in the powiat Miechowski near the village Chałupki, powiat zawierciański.

Accident investigation

The Polish prosecutor's office initiated the investigation of the railway accident on March 4. The following Monday, two dispatchers were taken into custody for questioning, which at the time of the accident were on duty.
