Szilvásgombóc

Plum dumplings are a court of Austrian, Hungarian and Czech cuisine (it also comes with the case k). They are among the desserts.

Plums are coated with a batter, formed into a dumpling and cooked in hot water. When dough is a yeast, cottage cheese, potato or choux be used.

They are then rolled in bread crumbs that have been previously browned in butter. Instead of bread crumbs, a mixture of ground poppy seeds and powdered sugar is used in Bohemia.

Instead, the dumplings are often sprinkled with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar or crushed gingerbread crumbs. Or the very dry Czech stopper is ground and passed through the dumplings.

At the table, the dumplings are finally happy doused with melted butter.
